Arrived in Toronto

After a lot of worry and wondering how it would all work out, it just did.
They successfully arrived in Toronto.
The babies did well on the flight.

Again, it comes down to the fact that so many people are reaching outside themselves to help.

A kind woman held one of the babies to free up Richard's hands so he could carry the baggage.
(She didn't know their story, just was a nice person)
If you've had a chance to care for triplets, you know that 3 adults is often the minimum needed.  :)
In this instance, they needed a 4th set of hands...
And, I think this woman's husband was quite excited about the fact they could now preboard with the babies!  Haha!

An Rb mom that found the fundraiser page got a hold of Leslie.  In fact she flew to Toronto (at her own expense) to help show them the ropes as she's been down this road before.

Another extremely kind woman from Toronto, who is a triplets mom, took matters into her own hands.  She helped us feel confident with a hotel choice.  Gathered supplies and sent her husband to meet 'Grandpa'.

A Relief Society President in the Toronto area (although a complete stranger) drove 40 minutes to deliver supplies, such as bassinets.

Unbelievable.

Well, I guess I shouldn't make this sound all peachy.  :)  Truth be told - the schedule that they've worked SO HARD to get the babies on (all eating at the same time) is totally shot.  Before this all began, they were on a strict 4 hour schedule.  At that 4 hour mark, you wake the babies, and they eat.  What one does, they all do.  You live or die by your schedule as a parent to multiples.

This is the current schedule for tonight.  It is all mixed up so that basically one baby is feeding all through the night.  Tomorrow they have their EUA (exam under anesthesia) 2 hours apart - 8,10, and 12.  They can't have breast milk for 4 hours prior to the procedure.  Therefore, the reason they are 'unscheduling' all their hard work.

BOTTLE SCHEDULE:
11:15 pm Luke
11:45 pm Thomas / Mason
2:45 Luke
3:30 Mason
3:45 Thomas
5:30 Luke
7:30 Thomas
...

It's gonna be a LONG night!
They may need another adult helper just to make it through these awake all night schedules.
Hang in there guys.

Leslie and Richard are overwhelmed at the generosity of complete strangers.
There are really good people in this world.

  5. I´m a cancer mom to a Little girl diagnosed at age 6 months. I just wanted to let you know that sometimes you get told horrible Things. We were told our daughter would probably die within 48 hours of diagnosis and we were given a choice not to treat. We knew her to be a feisty Little thing and gave her the chance. She is now 6½ years old and a delight. My message to you guys is believe, believe that your babies are going to be ok, believe that you can do it, believe that you are doing the best thing for your children even if sometimes it feels like you aren´t. Holding you all in our prayers and asking God to guide the Medical staff that are going to save your boys and care for your Family. Jane

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. Had chemo and radiation. Please consider the natural way. This is my video.

If cancer had to return I will not go through chemo again. Even 2 years after treatment I am still suffering the dreaded after effects of the chemo poison.
