So I know that I've been a big slacker about posting, sorry. And now I'm just not motivated to blog cuz I'd have too much to catch up on. So I'm not going to try catch up for now! A couple of weeks ago, Edmonton had the ice festival again. This year, the theme was Chinese, it was so cool, they had some amazing sculptures. Here are some pictures!

The Great Wall!

Grand prize sculpture, look at the detail!

I think it's a transformers character? Anyways, I don't know how the ice didn't break!

The handles on the teapot are a lot more impressive in person
Looks pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteEmily, Stu and Melissa brought me the hat that you made. Thanks so much. It's very cute and warm on my bald head! My daughter Emma has worn it a few times as well. The ice sculptures look cool.

ReplyDeleteThat festival looks soooo cool! Definately one of the few perks to living in a frozen wasteland :) Thanks for sharing picts!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! That looks familiar - to think that we didn't have to go clear to China to see all that, we could have just gone up to the great white north......
ReplyDeleteHey, this is pretty cool - it looks like you're commenting on your own blog! :)
