34!

We made it to 34 weeks!! When I started bed rest, I was doubtful that I would end up making it this far (I sure hoped I would, but I had my doubts and fears)! And here I am! We have been so blessed and I am just so thankful to be chugging along still. In fact, at most we only have 4 more days until these babies will be born! My c-section has been officially scheduled for December 5th. I am really hoping I can make it that far. But I wouldn't be surprised if I have to go in a little early. First of all, my last ultrasound on November 21 indicated that the babies growth rate had declined (in previous scans, they were measuring between the 10-50th percentile for weight when compared to a singleton). On the 21, they were right at the 10th (Between 3lbs2oz-3lb7oz). So I have a scan on Monday to see if their growth has continued to slow down. If they have dropped below the 10th percentile, they will perform the c-section that day (slower growth indicates that the placentas may be weakening and not providing enough nutrients, so it is better to take them out). Anyways, if the babies stay at or above the 10th, I will try and hold out until the 5th. However, I feel like my body is preparing to go into labor (not really sure how to describe the changes that make me feel this way, but there are just little things that remind me of how I felt at the end of my pregnancy with Benson). Also, my contractions/brackston hicks are getting a little more frequent-nothing alarming yet, just enough that I feel like my body has almost had enough!
Anyways, I just want to thank everybody for their prayers again. We are so thankful for the support we have received from you all. The next few weeks are going to be very busy and I may not have time to update much, but I will try. There is a very good chance the babies will need to stay in the hospital for a few weeks. From what I've been told, premature boys tend to need a little more time to learn to breath/eat/etc. They are measuring quite small, I would be surprised if any of them are over 4.5 lbs when born. So they will be very tiny! We are so excited to meet them and hope they all have a safe arrival. Keep praying for us!
And here is my 34 week belly. Sorry to show the bare belly, but I just don't think you can tell how big my belly is with a shirt over. I used to hate/make fun of people who post pictures of their bare bellies... because they did it to show of how great they look. I KNOW I don't look great, so I figure it is OK. I just hope nobody gets nauseous looking at it :)
