Chain of Events

Dec. 5, 2013: Healthy triplets born.

Feb. 23, 2014: Richard looks for distinguishing marks to differentiate the triplets, as they look a lot alike! He notices Mason has a teardrop shaped pupil. Calls an eye Dr. friend. Does the 'red eye' test with a camera flash. Pupil comes back white.

Feb. 26, 2014: Dr. confirms Mason has retinoblastoma.

Feb. 27, 2014: Thomas and Luke also diagnosed with retinoblastoma.

Mar. 5, 2014: First appointments with Dr. Gallie in Toronto. In depth diagnosis for all 3 boys. All boys receive initial treatment.

Mar. 7, 2014: Thomas has his Right eye removed.

April 18, 2014: Luke has vitrectomy to remove fluid from his Left eye

April 30,2014: Determined Mason needs enucleation of his Left eye.

May 1, 2014: Mason has his Left eye removed.

July 16, 2014: Tumor discovered in tissue for Mason.

July 21, 2014: Mason begins systemic chemotherapy

August 20, 2014: Mason's tumor is declared non-cancerous!

December 3, 2014: Luke has his Left eye removed

September 9, 2015: For the first time since diagnosis (18 months ago), none of the boys needed treatment at their EUA!
