Toronto Tuesday

Another Tuesday spent traveling to Toronto!

A few tender mercies today for the traveling group.  Richards Aunt who is helping this trip lost her fanny pack with her wallet and passport.  They were past security when she realized she didn't have it.  She went back out and started looking everywhere for it.  Eventually she called down to baggage, who informed her that the fanny pack had been turned in.  A passenger found it going around a baggage carousel and turned it in.  No money had been stolen, and everything was in its place.  How she got through security with it, but it ended up on a baggage carousel is quite a mystery.  What a tender mercy!

Leslie said as all this stress with the missing wallet was going on she felt so much peace.  They said a prayer asking for help to find the wallet.  She didn't receive an answer of "GO LOOK HERE."  But instead a calm, peaceful assurance that God was aware of their situation and that He was protecting them.

Leslie often says she can feel heavenly help with her on these Toronto trips.  Sometimes it's such a strong palpable feeling she has no doubt they are being watched over and protected.

The other tender mercy is Toronto is unseasonable cool right now.  Their accommodations air conditioning is broken.  If it were normal July temperatures, they would be miserable without AC.  Tender mercy #2 - Cool weather, and a very accommodating, kind manager who has brought them every extra fan he can find.  Thanks Mark!  :)
