The boys hanging out at the condo near Sick Kids.
Mason is patched because he's having his prosthetic refitted.
Luke had the enucleation, so the bandage is there to help reduce swelling.
Thomas is having his prosthetic refitted too. He just pulled his patch off during nap time.
Thomas already has the Low hairline!
ReplyDeleteLeslie, what a touching photo. I know this has been quite a struggle. I hope that tomorrow as you celebrate their first birthday you'll feel blessed, at peace, comforted by the Holy Ghost and additionally that you'll feel supported by me, your family, friends and countless strangers who have offered prayers, financial support, a place to stay, a helping hand, a kind smile and a variety of donations. <3
ReplyDeleteCutest boys!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the darling picture and the up-date.
ReplyDeleteI get so nervous for them, but also pray fervently and feel peace.
All our love to all of you and an extra hug to Grandma Grow.
So glad to hear the good news! On this day of birthday celebration, I thought this quote was really meaningful:
ReplyDelete"I look upon a year lived as a year earned;
and each year earned means a greater treasury of experience
and power
laid up against time of need.
Anna Botsford Comstock
