Baby update

The triplets had their first outing all together yesterday. It wasn't a very fun outing for them all... They got their circumcisions. Anyways, the procedure went really well. The babies didn't even cry during the procedure, and they have been dealing with the pain really well. Only problem we are having is that we have been peed on probably 10 times since. We just aren't fast enough at changing diapers when we are dealing with the Vaseline and gauze. It's the worst getting peed on at 2 am, especially when it gets the wall and carpet too!
Pretty sure the procedure was more painful for me to watch than for the babies. This was Thomas.

Doctor Richard seems to handle it much better than me. This is Mason.

Luke sucking on sugar. Sugar makes everything better. They were all this calm during the procedure.
Today we had another outing. This time to go see the pediatrician. They all look healthy and are gaining well! Thomas was 6 lbs even, Mason was 5lb9oz, and Luke was 6lb2oz. The dr told us that it is only going to get harder for the next 4 months, then it is just going to stay really hard... Great. I'm really tired just thinking about it. Here is a picture of them sprawled out at the checkup! Not sure how we will fit at checkouts when they get older.

And just in case anyone is wondering, in the last 7 days, we went through about 150 diapers... Not including benson's diapers.

  1. wow they're really growing well! good job boyS! I love that picture! I find with just one baby, the 2-3 months period where they wake up and are a bit fussy and want to be held is my hardest. so right up ahead but bet once they're sleeping through the night and chunkier... hopefully it'll feel a bit easier. They're too cute just laying there!

  5. Ahhh they are precious!!! I found that the easiest thing with the Vaseline was to put it in a ziplock bag and cut off a tiny corner of the bag. It was kind of like the bags you use to fill with frosting for cake decorating hahaha. It made it very quick, easy, and not too messy because I didn't even have to touch the Vaseline!
