Mix Up

We had our first mix up a few nights ago. I dressed Mason and Luke in the wrong outfits and we had them mixed up for about 10 hours! Richard caught it before he left for work! Thank goodness Luke has a hemangioma (kind of like a birth mark) on his shoulder. If he didn't have that, there's a chance they would have been switched forever!
Next, we have officially moved to size 1 diapers! Yay! We were paying over 25 cents a diaper for newborn, so it will be nice to move onto size 1 where you can buy bigger boxes of pampers (apparently I've turned into a pampers snob, they just fit so much better on little babies).
Finally, the babies have all started to smile! Luke was the first, then Mason, then Thomas (I think). Luke is extra smiley. Hopefully I can catch the smiles on camera soon. Oh, and they have been sleeping a longer stretch at night! They have gone almost 6 hours between feeds - now all we have to work on is getting them to actually sleep that whole time - it takes a long time to settle all of them for the night.

Luke - Tummy time! They all actually like tummy time so far. I hope they keep it up! Benson didn't like it.

Thomas - They all do this quite often. I think they look SO FUNNY.

Mason - Almost smiling!

  1. They are looking so OLD!!! What a great update. Besides the birthmark, how do you tell them apart? Do you have a toenail painted or anything?

They are eight now and the joy of my life! I hope you get the help and treatment you need. All four of them are darling and blessed to have you as their parents. One day at a time, hang in there!!
