Life at Home

With a long gap between appointments everyone has time to enjoy home.  I am sure Leslie wishes it were as simple as just caring for the kids.  But, knowing your kids have cancer means a constant nagging in the back of your mind, lots of 'what ifs' and moments of anxiety.  I imagine these are all normal feelings of the ups and downs for a family dealing with cancer and it's unknowns.

 The crew traveled to Cardston recently.  It was really nice to be able to see so many of the wonderful people in Cardston that have been such a support to our family.

 These travel high chairs are the best for this stage of life with multiples on the go!

Just in case you're wondering how you fit 4 car seats in a van :)

We took a pit stop at Costa Vida. Benson bumped into a table and started to cry, which made Mason scream, which made Thomas and Luke cry. Needless to say, after 5 minutes, we were the only ones left in the restaurant and could take over the tables :)

We made it to the top of bear's hump! Thank you Brian (Richard's dad) for carrying Thomas to the top for us. And thank you Dr. Taylor for getting Benny down! We definitely won't be doing this hike with the kids again for a few years. But it was worth it. Made me think a lot about the 'mountains' we've had to climb this year.
