1. Most importantly, the boys are thriving. They are getting more stable as they stand holding onto furniture, it won't be long before they are walking and running everywhere!
2. A few changes have been made to the blog. You may see advertisements scattered around. We don't intend to use this blog to make a profit. But, we have such a dedicated following we thought the money raised due to the ads could be donated to help others fighting similar battles.
3. For those of you who view the blog on a mobile device, you may have missed our new "menu bar" up top. There are a few newer pages that might be interesting. We get asked a lot about our story, so we created a page to give anyone who's interested our background. There is another page titled Retinoblastoma. Although Rb has become a major part of our lives, we realize it is one of the rarer childhood cancers. As much awareness as we can raise for Rb the better. Hopefully someone might just remember a story they once read somewhere about taking a photograph to look for the white eye...and that's a life saved.
4. Leslie has also created a new etsy shop filled with the cutest stuffed animals you'll see. She is a mom to triplets fighting cancer, and she feels passionately about helping bring happiness and joy to others fighting hard battles. Being surrounded by cancer is not enjoyable. Hearing kids stories of their battles is inspiring and depressing at the same time. No child should have cancer (or other illnesses). If you've had or been close to a child with a disease or illness, you know exactly what we're talking about. Leslie hopes to make the world brighter by gifting many of these stuffed animals to kids fighting hard battles. We've created a new page in the menu titled "Bravery Buddies" and it has links to the shop and facebook page and ways to help.
This video makes us laugh. Warning - there is a lot of crying involved... :)
